Triple Rosecut Diamond Ring

Triple Rosecut Diamond Ring

This non-traditional engagement ring is the result of a love affair we had with two antique diamond rings from the Georgian Era (early 1800′s) .  One was a 5 carat rosecut solitaire that would have blinded any bystanders, and the other was a 5 stone ring that was beyond sweet but needed a greater “wow” factor for an engagement ring.  Also, most antique diamonds are set with foil in the back which makes them difficult to be worn everyday.  We decided it best to combine the two beloved rings into a triple rosecut diamond ring.

The stones we used are of utmost quality enabling the eye to see the brushed yellow gold underneath.   The center rosecut diamond is an estimated 1.5 carats, and each neighboring rosecut diamond is just under 1 carat, totaling over 3 carats altogether.  We were delighted with the outcome of this ring as it is the perfect combination of the old and the new.  The tapered band is 18k yellow gold.  The carefully selected stones were placed in an antique- inspired 18k white gold setting.   Many current designers are using rosecut diamonds but it is rare to see them sparkle with so much brilliance as these stones do.
